high school- seems so long ago.
back then, i would make a cd of songs i illegally downloaded off of napster.
a mix each month for some of my closest friends.
the "cd of the month club".
it was basically some of the most random music i could find.
we took it for granted- it was more fun than anything.
i stopped doing those cds once we graduated in 2003. this past year, i brought it back.
i miss my friends.
it's more than just fun now.
it helps us stay connected in ways cell phones and facebook can't.
each month i thoughtfully create mixes-
sometimes with a running theme, sometimes just as random as high school.
the guys then receive the cds in the mail. it's important to stay connected.
it's important to share music, words, and life.
